Lokomotivlieferungen deutscher Hersteller nach Brasilien. Despite close links between Brazilian railways and Amercan and British financers, many ordered locomotives of great variety from Germany.
This major new book documents them, arranged by railway or industry. Many locomotive builders are represented, from Henschel to Schöma, and at least seven gauges. The years between the world wars was the dominating period, and fairly few diesel and electric locomotives were supplied. 782 individual locos have been ascertained, but many smaller engines were supplied to plantations and construction sites by dealers. 274 pages A4, well ill, partly in colour, hb.
