Armoured trains played an important part in the Polish-Ukrainian war of 1918-19 and the Polish-Bolshevik war of 1919-20 as well as in the following unstable inter-war period. This three-volume work deals with the period from 1921, after the war with Soviet Russia, till the German invasion in September 1939, when ten regular armoured trains went into battle. An amazing amount of information, photographs and line drawings is presented.
Volume 1 covers technique, organization and the trains employed 1921-29. 118 pages 30x21 cm, sb.
Volume 2 covers the trains of the 1st Armoured Train Group in service 1930-39. 123 pages 30x21 cm, sb.
Volume 3 covers the trains of the 2nd Armoured Train Group in service 1930-39, supply and evacuation trains. 154 pages 30x21 cm, sb. (Not yet available).
A volume on Polish Armoured Trains 1918-1921 is to follow.
