The third book in the Russian series History of Railway Machinery deals with the currently most widespread type of diesel locomotives for passenger trains. Two TEP75 prototypes proved too heavy, but 576 six-axle TEP70s were built 1973-2006. They are listed here with their first allocation. The main text is in Russian, but there is an English summary, detailed line drawings and 51 photographs with bilingual captions. 48 pages A4, sb.
